Pakistan Needs To Find New Batting Talent

Due to extremely poor Batting performances in continuously two matches against South Africa and West Indies the Pakistani Cricket team was knocked out of Champions trophy 2013 on Monday. No other Batsmen except Misbah Ul Haq and Nasir Jamshed was able to score more than 20 runs in both the matches which resulted in back to back defeats from West Indies and South Africa.

although Pakistan is knocked out of champions trophy but it has still one group match left against historic rival India that will be played on Saturday 15th June. Indian team is performing very well In Champions trophy so it will be really hard for Pakistan to defeat them.

Pakistan's bowlers continues to give good performances in almost all the matches but Batsmen are giving poor performance again and again which means Pakistan needs to make big changes in the batting order. players like Imran Farhat, Shoaib Malik and Kamran Akmal are failing to perform from a long time which means they should be dropped. Younis Khan and Abdul Razzaq still got some Cricket left. they should be brought back in the team.

PCB should also work to find new batting talent from small and big cities of Pakistan. Pakistanis have great passion for Cricket and there is lot of talent wherever you go in Pakistan. this talent just need to be explored and polished properly.

Young Batsmen like Nasir Jamshed, Asad Shafiq, Ahmed Shahzad, Umar Ameen should be given proper training by former legendary Pakistani Batsmen like Javed Minadad, Inzamam Ul Haq and Saeed Anwar.

if these steps are taken then Pakistan's batting order may start to perform better otherwise we will see more results like Champions Trophy 2013 in future.
