Pakistan Cricket Team's Batting Problem Continues

Pakistan Cricket Team's batting order failed once again on Tuesday when it failed to get the target of 233 runs in second ODI set by the host team West Indies. Pakistan's whole team got out on just 195 runs and lost the match by 37 runs. Except Nasir Jamshed and Umar Akmal no other Batsman was able to perform well with the bat. Jamshed scored 54 runs while young Umar Akmal made 50 runs.

Pakistan's batting problem continues even in the West Indies. even in first ODI only Misbah Ul Haq and Shahid Afridi were able to bat well while other batsman failed badly.

Cricket World cup is only two years away now which will take place in 2015 in Australia where doing batting is even more tougher. So if Pakistan not prepared a good batting order before 2015 then there is no chance of winning the world cup.

It is also not clear if senior players like Misbah Ul Haq and Shahid Afridi will be able to play for Pakistan until the 2015 world cup or not?

Pakistan will have to prepare new young Batsmen like India did recently. Nasir Jamshed, Asad Shafiq, Umar Akmal, Ahmed Shahzad are future of Pakistan's batting line so all these players needs to improve and learn from their mistakes.

Muhammad Abdul Hafeez who will be probably next captain of Pakistan also seriously needs to think about the mistakes he makes again and again in batting and gets out.

Pakistan is lucky to have lots of good bowlers who continues to perform well so bowling is not a worry for Pakistan at all. Just batting needs to be improved if Pakistan wants to win World Cup 2015.
